Diffuser
A diffuser is a blow-dryer attachment that spreads airflow gently to dry curls and waves without disturbing their pattern. It matters for a shag because it adds lift at the roots and keeps definition while reducing frizz. A typical method is to cup sections of hair in the diffuser, lift toward the scalp and use low to medium heat on a low speed. Avoid touching the hair until it is dry.
